What is Pyrethrum?
Pyrethrum is a natural insecticide derived from the white chrysanthemum daisy (Tanacetum cinerariaefolium), developed by the plant over millennia to protect itself from insects. The active oil, found in tiny glands around the flower seeds, contains a combination of six chemical esters called pyrethrins.
